In addition to this project, I also took on the role of team manager for the exhibition’s spatial design group. I was responsible for managing communication between the different groups and the curator, assisting with the design of the information scrolls, and overseeing as well as participating in brainstorming sessions about the overall exhibition design, including the placement of each work, and the positioning of information scrolls and stickers in relation to the artworks.
"Maar het kon erger" is a paper installation based on the experiences of women. The paper banners are filled with real accounts of boundary-crossing behaviour that often remain hidden in the so-called grey area. This could be a sexist joke, belittling remarks, touching without consent, or making advances without
permission. For many women, these moments may have gone unnoticed or unspoken about at first. Through this installation, a voice and space are given to share the stories.

The use of paper symbolizes fragility: the fragility of bodies, boundaries, and emotions. These real experiences are the sources. What happened deserves to be seen and read. The quotes reveal that intimidation surrounds us. Every incident is one too many. Step by step, the grey area darkens until the question arises: "How could this have happened?"
